About Me:
Hi, I’m Ryan. I love helping students in any way I can. I by no means know the answers to everything, but I enjoy teaching students because I was fortunate to enough to grow up with hands-on learning at every stage of my life and received the necessary attention from teachers in order to maximize my academic success at every level. If I had to describe my teaching philosophy, I would say that it involves breaking complex concepts down into easier concepts to gain a better understanding.
Education & Relevant Training:
- B.S. Data Science – University of Michigan
Experience:
- I have never formally tutored anyone, but I have also been told I would make a good tutor from various peers throughout my academic career.
Teaching Philosophy:
Especially in math, I like breaking down each step of a problem and making sure a student understands why we are doing a certain step.
Hobbies and Interests:
- Sports, food, and videography!
Future Goals:
Post-grad, I will be pursuing a career in finance but ultimately have career ambitions in the startup space.
