Hi, my name is Jason and I’m thrilled to be a tutor for NextGen Matters. Having the academic support I needed throughout my life motivated me to help others who need assistance in pursuing their academic achievements. I believe education is the key to success, and I strive to share that mindset through mentorship and guidance. I enjoy breaking down tough concepts into easy steps and helping students feel confident in their learning. Ultimately, my goal is to make a meaningful, positive impact on every student I work with.

  • Link Crew at SGHS for 2 years. I helped guide and mentor a group of freshman to help integrate and familiarize them into high school.

Teaching Philosophy:

My approach begins with a flexible and adaptable mindset, understanding that every student comes from a different academic background. From there, I tailor my teaching style to meet their unique needs, whether that means slowing down the material or challenging them. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps while encouraging students to think critically and independently. The ultimate goal is to build my students into independent and confident academic achievers.
