About Me:

Hi, my name is Madison! As a tutor I want to share my passion for learning while creating a welcoming environment where questions are welcomed and mistakes are part of the process. I want to connect with each student individually learning about the study methods that work for them then applying that towards the tutoring sessions.

Education & Relevant Training:

  • 14 AP classes
  • 4.0 unweighted
  • 4.73 weighted GPA
  • Multi variable calculus, AP chem, AP Physics C, AP Language, and many more.

Experience:

  • I have tutored on multiple platforms in the past such as School House World, Learn to Be, and peer tutoring at my school having over 100 volunteer hours on these platforms. I have also been a private tutor on my own over the past year.

Teaching Philosophy:

I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs my goal is to help students stay motivated and achieve their academic goals while having fun.

Hobbies and Interests:

  • I love sports, especially basketball.
  • I crochet, go on walks outside, or watch a movie with a big bowl of popcorn.
  • I love trying new food places and going shopping with my friends.
